Victoria Lee Wants to Get As Much Fight Experience As She Can This Year

Victoria Lee has some big plans, but she knows she has to work hard for them.

Earlier this year, “The Prodigy” (1-0, 1-0 One) made her professional debut at age 16 in One Championship’s atomweight division. Much like her older siblings, One Championship stars Angela Lee and Christian Lee, Victoria started her professional path on the right foot, earning a victory in her first professional fight. Lee submitted Sunisa Srisen with a slick rear-naked choke that forced her opponent to tap 1:03 into the second stanza of their encounter at One: Fists of Fury.

“I knew that I wanted to become a professional fighter after winning the junior world championships,” she said while talking with Sherdog. “That was when I was 13. From there, I knew that was what I wanted to do. When I was presented with the opportunity to become a professional fighter, I jumped on it because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I have no regrets. I love my job and I’m so excited to continue my career with One Championship.”

Lee is now scheduled to face Luping Wang on the upcoming One: Battleground card.

“For right now, I’m just a hundred percent focused on my next bout, which happens in a few days,” Lee added. “After that, I just want to stay as busy as possible, maybe two more fights this year. Yeah, I just want to stay as active as possible.”
